Our cottage is located in the charming village of Elk Rapids, Michigan, which is 15 miles north of Traverse City on US31. The cottage has 80 feet of waterfront overlooking Spencer's Bay and Elk River. Voyaging south, the river leads to Elk Lake, the gateway to The Chain Of Lakes. Heading upriver leads to downtown Elk Rapids and Grand Traverse Bay (East Bay). The 1600 sq ft house has full amenities that can accommodate six or even eight people. Whether you like summer sports, like boating, fishing, or golfing, or winter activities, such as skiing or snowmobiling, or if you enjoy the beautiful fall colors, Elk Rapids area is perfect for family vacations or weekend get-a-ways.
