This charming new shingle-style beach cottage is the closest a private gulf front property can get to the picture-perfect town of Seaside.

The house features reclaimed antique heart pine floors throughout, custom upholstery and linens, and a wonderful collection of comfortable antique furniture, accessories, and small Oriental throw rugs. Most of the interior is done in painted wood, and the outside is shingled. The windows, doors, and even screen doors were custom-made for the house out of mahogany. The master bedroom features a fireplace, a queen-sized carved mahogany four poster bed and a full private bath with Jacuzzi tub/shower. There is a full-sized four poster bed in the first bedroom and a queen-sized bed in the second. The large second floor living area contains a fireplace with Delft tile and solid cypress mantle.
