The condo complex is located away from the hustle of city traffic and party noise common in OSJ. Old San Juan has a very dynamic and vibrant night life, many streets tend to be busy & noisy which makes this apartment a great retreat from activities...quiet days and restful nights.
The apt is on the 1st floor with only 2 steps to the front door in a 2 story building.The condo is close to the Governor' mansion, Capital, federal buildings & cruise ship piers, so the local & federal police as well as the Coast Guard monitor the area. The Coast Guard' living quarters are located at the end of the condo' street which dead ends at the facililty.
The apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated, attention was given to comfort for both for guests &family.
The condo is located within walking distance to Escambron beach, fine shopping and casinos. The Condado area is 5 nimutes away. Taxis are plentiful, 24 hours/day and public transportation is also nearby. You can catch trollies, that are free, to see the sights within old San Juan.
The apt faces the Coast Guard building where boats are inspected and El Arsenal Museum, both built during the Spanish colonial period. On the opposite side of the complex is the Paseo de la Princesa park with its beautiful fountain at the end of the promenade wher you can enjoy specatacular sunsets by the bay and see the walled city as buillt by the Spaniards. On Sunday evenings locals gather with instruments for lively and fun concerts.
The kitchen is fully equipped, quality towels & linen are supplied, individual A/C units in the kitchen and bedroom. There are overhead and floor fans as well. Great cross ventilation/breeze in the apt with louver windows/doors that open. The laundry room is located within the apartment.
