This is a world-class ski destination with Grand Targhee a short 15 miles away and Jackson Hole an easy hop over the pass. There are groomed cross-country trails nearby, as well as a great rental shop (Peaked Sports) and snowmobile outfitter (Teton Valley Adventures) nearby. In summer, it's hard to beat the access to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, as well as some of the world's best fly fishing on Henry's Fork of the Snake River. The nearby ranger station can point you in the direction of awesome hiking and biking, and plenty of horseback operations can put you in the saddle.
